Through my childhood I saved everything. When moved out of my parents house in 2008, I decided to let go of everything all at once. I worked with photographer, Arielle Zarr, to document all the objects, I then wrote about my memories attached to the objects examining their sentimental value and why I initially felt the need to hold onto them. In a series of exhibitions titled, Sentimentality, I offered up all of my childhood belongings for trade. In exchange for the objects I asked for written stories or drawings. These written exchanges could directly relate to the object or be something else.
